About Us

Wilkins Hammond is a family firm of Chartered Surveyors, specialising in providing property services to Chesterfield and North Derbyshire since 1995.

The firm's founder, John Wilkins FRICS IRRV, re-located to Chesterfield some 40 years ago and quickly established himself in the Town's professional community. Ever since, the Wilkins name has been synonymous with all property-related matters, becoming known and respected for providing sound, reliable advice to thousands of clients through to the present day.

John continues as the firm's managing partner, with Wilkins Hammond now run day-to-day by his two sons, Richard and Robert, in conjunction with their sister Roz. We continue to offer the people of Chesterfield the professional service for which the firm has become widely respected.

Commercial Property:

Our services in this sector are looked after by Richard Wilkins BSc (Hons) MRICS, offering a comprehensive range of advice including sales, lettings and acquisitions, valuations for secured lending, accounting, pension scheme and taxation purposes, rent reviews and lease renewals and business rates valuations and negotiations, together with commercial property management and development matters. This team's functions are managed by Roz Wilkins-Churchill FNAEA CRLM. Acting on behalf of over 200 property owners, we deliver a complete property management and residential lettings service, up to date with all regulations and legislation to ensure peace of mind for our Landlord Clients. Land and Development:

This department is headed by Robert Wilkins MNAEA and has successfully completed transactions worth many millions of pounds on behalf of our residential development land-owning clients across the Midlands and the North of England. In addition, we offer a full service to clients to include Market Research, Appraisals, Development Viability Studies and Valuation. Read more
